There is still celebrating to be done this Christmas Season and Epiphany is a perfect time!
Gather your family (and friends!) one more time to commemorate the arrival of the 3 Magi at Bethlehem!
First, display the Mysterious Magi Map somewhere that family and friends can easily read it.
We like to place our on our kitchen table so it can become a conversation starter as people pass it around to study the trade routes, Scripture, information about the Dead Sea Scrolls, and so much more.
The Mysterious Magi Map is also a great new addition to your Christmas decorations (which your kids probably no longer notice since they’ve been up for a few weeks). Bringing out a new and specific decoration for Epiphany is a great way to remind them that this is an important feast to celebrate!
Second, have a King Cake.
Check with your local bakery to see if they offer traditional king cakes or make your own from this recipe.
Most importantly: do NOT stress about having the perfect King Cake. In the past, we have simply made a bundt cake and decorated it with sprinkles! The circular shape is the key part and in my experience, kids are pretty happy with any old cake!
We created these adorable Cake Toppers for your King Cake to give it an extra festive flair! Download these FREE Cake Toppers HERE.
Third, bless your home with the Traditional Epiphany Blessing.
This traditional practice of the Church is gaining popularity and we are so happy about it!
The Catholic Church offers a profound blessing liturgy to be celebrated by the head of the household with those who live together all gathered in prayer asking for the intercession of the 3 Magi who left their homes to search for the newborn Savior of the World!
Then all year long every time you pass through the doors of your home you’ll call to mind that you are under the protection of God in His Angels and in His Saints as His adopted children!
We make it easy for you this year with our Epiphany Home Blessing Kit.
Say goodbye to the last-minute scrambling and enjoy a stress-free experience. We’ve got it all covered, allowing you to focus on the meaningful experience itself.
You can find even more ideas for Epiphany (from countries around the world!) in this previous blog post.
