Let us help you this summer—everything you need for a fun, faith-filled summer (without the screens) with our Summer Survival Kit!

So—how can you use our Summer Survival Kit throughout the ENTIRE Summer?

Here are ideas for how you can use each aspect of this kit not just on the day it arrives, but throughout the weeks of travel, hot afternoons, and the last few days before school picks back up:

  2. Find the complete list of instructions on our blog.

How to use this resource: make this craft and use this prayer book during family prayers or as an art study during the upcoming school year!

Psst-if you would like additional Sacred Art resources, check out these books!

Name-It! Game

This best-selling Catholic game is a unique way to keep kids entertained both at home and on the go! Housed in a compact metal tin, this can easily be tucked into a diaper bag, carry-on, or child’s backpack for Catholic fun at the park, airport, or on the beach!

How to use this resource: in addition to it being FUN, this game is a great way to spend the summer before 1st Communion prep begins in the fall! Kids will learn the names of 55+ Catholic objects. This is also a great tool if you have a child beginning altar serving–he will know the names of the objects used in the Mass.

Name-It! Sticker Sheet

This sticker sheet is full of Catholic objects that kids will learn as they play the Name-It! Game. Can you name all the objects that appear on this sheet?

How to use this resource: we’ve had families use these stickers so many different ways! Some families add this sheet to their mass bag to keep little hands busy while others have used these stickers as rewards for memorizing Scripture or Catholic prayers (perhaps they can add them to their homemade prayer books)!

Glory Stories Volume 7: St. Marin de Porres and St. Clare

Add to your growing Glory Stories collection this summer with this heavily discounted CD! Plus–this story has something for everyone between talking animals (yes, that actually happened…) to soldiers to a miracle that enable a boy to become a priest (did you know that men were ineligible to become priests if they have this disability? Learn more about it in the story of St. Marin).

Jennifer from Texas told us: “This CD isn’t just well-done, it’s a Godsend. When my kids and I listen to this together, I can’t help crying – not just because the product is so good but because the vision behind it is extraordinary. Kids (and whole families) are tasting the JOY of the faith because of these stories coming alive, as they should, in our imaginations and hearts and lives!!”

Another Customer told us: I think one of the nicest things about Glory Stories is that they begin when these saints were ‘just regular people’ and show how, little by little, they learned their faith and desired to share it, and God blessed them for that. If I had to pick one work to describe the Glory Stories, it would be “encouraging!”

How to use this resource: since both these saints have feast days in the fall, this CD is a great way to learn about them over the summer and then revisit their stories in August and November! Use this CD for long car trips and re-use it again in the fall when you are back to daily driving.

Psst–looking for additional resources for long trips? Here is what other Catholic mothers have recommended to us.

Holy Heroes Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary

For years we struggled with praying the Rosary with our children.

They found it boring and hard because they saw it as a lot of the same prayers and not as a meditation. We had to help them think about the Mysteries of the Rosary as the stories from the Bible.

We used this CD on car trips and even praying at night in our home, and by doing so, our children not only pray the Rosary, but they really understand it and the Scripture that goes with it.

Debbie shared this with us after receiving her CD:

“For over a year we have done a monthly “Family Rosary Night” with our friends, and we have tried various ways to engage the kids (ages newborn to 10yo) in contemplating the mysteries and listening to what Jesus and his Blessed Mother have to say to us about our lives. Your CDs have truly hit the right note – the meditations and scripture verses illuminate the “stories” and lessons like I have never been able to and the kids are really responding to it. I am so glad to have found a resource (done by and for kids, no less!) that combines hard-core catechesis with the loving intimacy of a personal relationship with Jesus.”

How to use this resource: this CD can turn your car time into prayer time, be used as an aid for memorizing Scripture (a verse is included before every Hail Mary), or follow the advice from the review above and host a family Rosary night using this CD as a guide!

Prayer Card Set

This travel-friendly prayer aid will help your family turn a car, hotel room, or airport into an opportunity for prayer!

“These work! Sturdy, good-sized cards, all fastened together with a carabiner clip, just perfect for our family. The cards are a good size, really perfect for readability and – most important – not getting lost as a smaller size might. I love how the prayers are presented in both Latin and in English, a great way for kids to learn both!”

This set includes:

  • 20 Mysteries of the Rosary,
  • 14 Stations of the Cross,
  • and 6 BONUS cards with prayers for safe travels!

How to use this resource: pray along with the audio Rosary CD at home or on the go! You can also use these cards throughout the entire liturgical year (the Luminous Mysteries for Ordinary Time, the Joyful Mysteries for Advent, the Sorrowful Mysteries and Stations of the Cross for Lent, and the Glorious Mysteries for Easter)!
