I will give peace in their families.

I will console them in all their troubles.

Tepid souls shall become fervent.

I will bless the homes in which the image of my Sacred Heart shall be exposed and honored.

These are a few of the promises that Jesus made to people who honor His Sacred Heart.

These are pretty startling promises!

June is dedicated to the Sacred Heart so this is a wonderful opportunity to commit your family to the Sacred Heart.

A special way to do this is by enthroning your home to the Sacred Heart.

An enthroning is when you make an act of consecration and put an image of the Sacred Heart on display in your home. So easy and beautiful.

If you’d rather read than listen, here are the steps for how you can enthrone your home:

1. The very first step of enthronement is to get an image of the Sacred Heart to enthrone in your home.

This Sacred Heart print is uniquely created to be enthroned in the Catholic home.

At the bottom of this image is a place for your family to sign and date when the home is enrolled so you can always remember this special day.

2. Ask your parish priest if he can lead the enthronement.

If your parish priest is busy or it doesn’t work out, then have the Dad of the home lead the prayers. Make sure that if your parish priest cannot perform the enthronement, you get your image of the Sacred Heart blessed separately before your ceremony.

3. Go to Mass together as a family (making your enthronement day a Sunday would make this easy).

Spend time during the Mass praying for your family as your prepare the enthrone the Sacred Heart in your home!

4. Host the Enthronement Ceremony

You can even invite friends to join you (and hopefully your parish priest) for your home’s enthronement ceremony!

Choose one of the free liturgy resources and follow the rubric for the enthronement ceremony (you can find all the prayers HERE or another option HERE).

Once the ceremony is over, enjoy some time celebrating this beautiful day! We have some FREE decorations to help you celebrate.

5. Keep your devotion to the Sacred Heart strong!
