Here is our challenge: can you pray for 40 people this Lent?

Since we launched last Lent, thousands of people have joined us in offering their daily Lenten penance for a specific person…and then letting that person KNOW by sending a beautiful Catholic postcard.
This is the key: taking the next step to let someone KNOW you are praying and sacrificing on their behalf.
Not only does this daily discipline over 40 days help you focus on others (rather than simply “improving” yourself), it has incredible potential to impact others…even people who are not necessarily religious themselves.
People shared the reactions they have received when mailing or handing these cards out during Lent:
“Incredibly touching…opens up conversations on the Faith.”

“These postcards are such a wonderful idea- the kids loved putting the postcard stamps on and even had room to write a little message. They can do works of mercy and offer up sacrifices for loved ones for Lent- or cheer up a lonely relative. Thank you for this product! It transformed our LENT!”
“As soon as these beautiful cards arrived, I started handing them out! Everyone who received one was touched. In some cases, the postcard rekindled discussions on the Catholic Faith.”
“I have used these with a group of retired/infirmed nuns and they love the idea of sending a postcard off to someone and letting them know that they are remembered and are being prayed for during the Lenten season.”
One more thing that people find impactful about this practice:

By praying and sending a card to a specific person each day, Katie Warner told us that “this Lenten practice allows me to become a sort of spiritual companion to another person on their own Lenten journey, particularly by letting them know that I am interceding for him or her on that day.”
How many times have you assured someone of your prayers and then completely forgotten to fulfill that obligation? You are not alone!
This Lenten practice will allow you to catch up on 40 of those “I’ll pray for you” promises!
