With eight children, you would think we would have figured out the phone thing before now. 

We tried so many things—but when it came to needing a phone for Caroline, we were still stumped. She is the youngest we have ever considered getting a phone for, but with her recently being accepted to a youth orchestra as a cellist, she needed a way to reach us when she is at rehearsals.

Highly recommend–helped me reclaim short car time I would have wasted

We moms & dads spend a lot of time driving for pick-ups and drop-offs, not just actually driving but also sitting in the car waiting….and sometimes waiting and waiting.

I found that the last swim meet weekend was made very valuable to me by listening to the short saint talks in this new online series. In fact, I took NOTES on many of the talks–they were that good.

While running a family business and raising 8 children, it seems like life is always “too busy” for something like a marriage retreat. 

Even with just a few kids left at home, growing demands of the business, grandbabies wanting to visit (yay!), and daily life mean that a traditional weekend marriage retreat is probably not happening for us during this stage of life.
