At the end of Sunday Mass, the priest told his story while the deacon translated.
The priest (who had escaped from imprisonment in his native land) told of the Eucharistic Miracle he witnessed and made an urgent request that we can all fulfill.
If you would like to learn more about this particular Eucharistic Miracle, click HERE for a video and blog with the entire story.
But I have to beg you right now:
This priest requested reparation and prayers for a sacrilege he had also just witnessed at this local parish,
only a few feet from where we were seated.
I know this parish is not the only one experiencing sacrilege and offenses against Our Lord (especially when He is Truly Present in the Holy Eucharist). I know I can think of many…
A recommended prayer of reparation is the short prayer to the Heart of Jesus Truly Present in the Holy Eucharist: The Divine Praises.
Can you join us in praying The Divine Praises in reparation to the Heart of Jesus Truly Present in the Holy Eucharist? Can you encourage your community to also begin praying this prayer too?
Here is what we did: We dropped our Divine Praises Prayer Card to less than a dime a card,
so you can:
stock your chapel,
your church for every Mass,
your coffee shop,
give to your friends,
give to every child for back-to-school.
Now, since making this request, we sold out our Divine Praises prayer card.
So we re-ordered five times as many as we had previously in stock…and that re-order has nearly sold out, so we are on our third order (and due to a request: we are now also making available a Spanish version of the card)
Our updated our (English) Divine Praises 5-pack now includes 5 unique cards.
Each 5-pack includes 1 of each of these beautiful images.
These new UPDATED cards arrive next week so please–order for your homeschool group, parish, adoration chapel, coffee shop, school, athletics teams, etc. before these cards sell out again.
We have another 25,000 cards coming early next week and many have already been ordered (we are standing by to start packing orders as soon as the cards arrive)!
PS–spreading news about Eucharistic Miracles is one of the most important work we do (one of my sons-in-law began his conversion to the Catholic Church after being presented with Eucharistic miracles).
A few resources to help teach your children about Eucharistic Miracles:
- Eucharistic Miracles of the World (created by Blessed Carlo Acutis, this 350+ page volume is a must-have for Catholic families)
- Inside the Sacraments: The Holy Eucharist DVD (includes several Eucharistic miracles!)
- A Cardiologist Examines Jesus (perfect for high schoolers with questions!)
- Eucharistic Miracles and Eucharistic Phenomena in the Lives of the Saints
- Little Nellie of Holy God (a beautiful picture book for the smallest children)
Ken Davison created Glory Stories, which became a weekly radio series heard globally on the Ave Maria Satellite Radio Network and EWTN’s radio network, WEWN. In 2007, he and his wife, Kerri, founded Holy Heroes–and their children stepped in to help shortly thereafter to create the online “Adventures” for Advent, Lent, Spiritual Adoption, and Marian Consecration.
I was about to order a ton of your Divine Praises prayer card packs. Then I noticed you left out the end of the prayer, “May the heart of Jesus, in the Most Blessed Sacrament, be praised, adored, and loved with grateful affection, at every moment, in all the tabernacles of the world, even to the end of time. Amen.”
It saddens me that so many holy card companies omit the beautiful ending to the Divine Praises. But not all do!
So I’m just informing you that you have lost a sale. Perhaps you could produce another pack of cards that includes the entire prayer. If so, I would gladly order from you!
Hi there! That paragraph you mentioned is not officially part of the Divine Praises prayer! You can find the official text of the prayer here (and on the back of our card): https://www.usccb.org/prayers/divine-praises
That paragraph is an optional paragraph that is often added to the end of the prayer following Benediction (Catholic Culture mentions it here: https://www.catholicculture.org/culture/liturgicalyear/prayers/view.cfm?id=564).
In order to keep the text large enough on the back of the card, we did not include the optional section since these cards are not specifically for Benediction (though they can be used for that too–especially since you have it memorized!!).
Devotion to the Holy Face would please Our Lord as well!
That devotion is close to our hearts here at Holy Heroes. In my office I have the actual-sized image of the Holy Face facing me (actually, I also have this image of the face of Our Lady of Guadalupe, as well). You can also get the Holy Face for your phone case (a great witness and reminder).
