On August 4, the Church celebrates the feast day of St. John Vianney, the patron saint of parish priests.

To prepare for this upcoming feast day, we want to encourage families to pray this 9-day novena to St. John Vianney on behalf of their parish priest(s).

The role of a parish priest is an incredibly hard one and they rarely receive the appreciation they deserve for their dedication to the laity.

Beginning the Novena on July 27th, pray this Novena every day for the private intention of your parish priest(s). You will finish the last day of the Novena on the feast of St. John Vianney on August 4th.

What a beautiful way you can do a great service to your parish priest (or any priest who has impacted your life!) from home!

Download and print the St. John Vianney Novena below.

You can hang it on your fridge or another high traffic area of the home to remind your family to pray all 9 days!
