We are getting ready to celebrate the Feast of St. Lucy on December 13th!
This feast is sometimes forgotten in the midst of the Advent season and preparations for Christmas. However, this is a fun feast to celebrate with kids and we want to help you!
Here are some resources to help you celebrate:
First, here is a video about St. Lucy
If you enjoy this video, make sure you sign up for Advent Adventure HERE.
Second, make St. Lucy Buns
As you saw in the video, eating buns with coffee (or hot chocolate!) is a tradition for this feast day! We have TWO recipes available through Advent Adventure and you can download both recipes below:
Third, make a St. Lucy’s crown
Our friend Dianne over at The Kennedy Adventures has compiled a list of St. Lucy’s Crown crafts! You can peruse the list of crafts (plus find other resources to help you celebrate)!
If you want more traditions and ideas for St. Lucy’s Feast Day, head over to A Catholic Mom’s Life. Heather has a blog post about what her family does HERE.
Make sure that you are subscribed to our blog to receive liturgical living resources throughout the year:
