Now, you can emulate this General with prayers BY NAME for your departed loved ones–there are TWO WAYS right now:
First, unite your prayers for your dearly departed BY NAME to the greatest prayer of the Church: a special Novena of Masses taking place Oct 29 – Nov 6 this year. This is the 4th year Holy Heroes is hosting this Novena of Masses for the Souls in Purgatory, and no stipend is required. Please act now to add the names of your loved ones to help us empty Purgatory below.
Second, with a special Plenary Indulgence, you can “boost” your personal prayers for the Poor Souls in Purgatory BY NAME each day November 1-8.
On any and each day for the first eight days of November, a plenary indulgence is granted to the faithful to be applied ONLY to the holy souls in purgatory.
There are specific requirements–and special ones on All Souls Day!–but this card explains them all.
PLUS with this card, you can note the names of each dearly departed by the date you will offer an indulgence for them–this will act as a reminder to pray for them on that day!
