Here are 3 habits you can start this school year–easy enough for kids of ALL ages!
Habit #1: The Daily Decalogue of Pope Saint John XXIII

This is a small way to refocus your family every morning (perhaps at the beginning of your school day)–> Each morning, pray...”only for today”:
- Only for today, I will do at least one thing I do not like doing; and if my feelings are hurt, I will make sure that no one notices.
- Only for today, I will firmly believe, despite appearances, that the good Providence of God cares for me as no one else who exists in this world.
- and so forth through 10 short beautiful prayers.
Habit #2: Carlo Acutis’ 8 Steps to Sainthood
Yes, Carlo created 8 steps to help him strive towards sainthood…and it worked for him!
Don’t get overwhelmed! You can incorporate these 8 steps slowly and they are easy enough for ANYONE (even kids!) to follow!

Here are the 8 steps Carlo Acutis practiced during his life:
- Go to Holy Mass and receive Holy Communion daily.
- Spend time daily in front of the Blessed Sacrament.
- Pray a daily Rosary.
- Read Scripture daily.
- Go to Confession weekly.
- Pray for the grace to become a Saint.
- Make sacrifices and self-denials frequently.
- Ask your Guardian Angel to help you at all times.
To share these 8 steps to more families, we created a SAINT Carlo Acutis card!

For the very youngest members of your family, we include these 8 Steps in our SAINT Carlo Acutis coloring book!
Kids can color along to Carlo Acutis’ life story while learning the 8 steps to help THEM become saints too!
Our Carlo Acutis coloring book is one of our most popular resources, and kids love seeing a modern young boy who LOVED the Eucharist!
IDEA: order coloring books for your friends, homeschool group, or upcoming school year class!
Habit #3: Family Rosary

Here is how families are praying a rosary together:
“Our 2.5-year-old LOVES these books. She’ll pour over them herself, and when we finish one decade with her, she will ask, ‘Can we do another one?'”
Praying together…at the end of a long day…with children of all ages…and a tired Mom and Dad…to have the children ENGAGED, not irritated (or–frankly–irritating)?
This was our hope when we launched these absolutely unique “bead-by-bead” rosary prayer books for children.
We’ve sold 14,602 of them (and counting!). Parents–and children–everywhere have found family rosaries transformed.
