Did you see our Lent Survival Kit and wonder if it would be a good fit for your family?
The Holy Heroes Lent Survival Kit includes everything a family with children (of all ages) needs to persevere! Here is the UPDATED 2025 Lent Survival Kit:

- Our Paschal Candle Kit,
- a family favorite “make your own” pure beeswax candle to create *a new family tradition* to celebrate Easter morning for the end of Lent!
- Lent & Easter Seasons Calendar,
- put this on your fridge–designates feast days, days of fasting, and more for not only Lent, but when you flip (Alleluia!) there’s the entire 50-day season of Easter!
- Lenten Road to Easter,
- a great activity that keeps kids guessing all Lent-long as they use daily stickers to reveal this year’s SECRET code!
- the Passion of Jesus coloring book,
- helps little ones reflect on the Sorrowful Mysteries during Lent (color during prayer time, then put it away until the next prayer time to last all Lent)
- and Stations of the Cross bi-lingual booklet.
- this is a full-color, absolutely gorgeous booklet with stunning hi-res photos of the bas-relief handpainted Stations of the Cross hanging in the Basilica Mary Help of Christians at Belmont Abbey. Children will be drawn into each Station by the art, and the meditations are such that a child can lead and understand them. Imprimatur & Nihil Obstat, too.

Stations of the Cross Posters
I loved using these in my home last year. I hung them low enough on the wall for my toddler to see and she LOVED walking alongside Jesus during Lent.
If you’re wondering how sturdy these posters are, let me tell you this: I taped mine to the wall with blue painter’s tape (no time for anything fancy with a toddler running around) and they still look great! I will be hanging them up again soon and am excited for my daughter’s reaction when they appear again in our living room. How to Make a Good Confession
Lent is an important time to go to Confession and this book is incredibly helpful!
Get Fr. Kane’s help to confess well and avoid sin:
- One truth you must realize, or you’ll never drive sin from your soul
- Three characteristics of the truly forgiven sinner
- How to tell whether you’re sorry for your sins — even if you don’t feel sorry
- The embarrassment of going to Confession — how it can actually help you imitate Christ!
- Why true saints will always consider themselves sinners
- How to take advantage of Lent each year to overcome your sins
- And much more that will help you get more spiritual fruit out of Confession than you may even have thought was possible!
There is a reason so many people rave about this book (which seems odd considering the topic…). For younger sinners, check out our handy Confession Pack for Kids.
