October 9th is the Solemnity of Our Lady of Champion

Here are a few ideas of how you can celebrate the Solemnity of Our Lady of Champion!

Listen to the Glory Story

If you haven’t heard the story of Our Lady of Champion, this is a great time to listen to the newest Glory Story! You can order the CD or get instant access via MP3.

This audio drama is an incredible way to share this story with your family! Catholic parents have told us:

“My children (ages 8,6, and 4) really loved listening to this Glory Story in the car. They were captivated by the great storytelling”

“Had the whole family enthralled, from the 4-year-old, preteens, teen, up to my husband and myself. I immediately ordered another copy for my sister’s family after listening to it.”

“We are so excited to receive our copy of “Our Lady of Champion” CD! My children (10, 8, 6, & 2yo) all LOVE the CD’s. I ordered a second set just so we can always have 1 in our schoolroom and a second in the van. We listen to multiple stories each day. A truly such a beautiful resource!!”

“Listened to it today, and it’s our favorite Glory Story ever. Thank you!!”

Make a Belgium Pie

Our Lady of Champion appeared to Adele Brise, a Belgium immigrant. Theoni Bell, the author of our Glory Story, shared 2 Belgium Pie recipes (along with several other great celebration ideas)find them here!

Download the companion 30-page coloring download

Another great resource is our NEW 30-page coloring download! This coloring download is a fantastic companion to our Glory Story, but can absolutely be used on its own. This is the longest coloring download we have ever created and it is full of beautiful artwork, fun animals, and the true story of Our Lady of Champion.

Some families have even used this as a feast day read-aloud since the entire story is included in the page text!
