Christmas is over, so it’s time to get serious about our weekly free online Mass Prep, Lenten Adventure, our next Glory Stories, and other new products–in other words, loads of stuff.

We’re looking for people who can work as independent contractors, at least to start, helping us complete projects in many cases (and there will be more work after that if things work out well!).  In other cases, we need help in the office several days a week on a regular basis to keep everything moving ahead and all the administrative and project management pieces under control.

NOTE #1: we operate on a very tight budget, so we can only afford to bring on people as we are able to improve our efficiency and cover the costs by generating more income. So as we find the right people, we’ll bring on a few at a time and grow from there. Although we have all the needs below, we will likely not jump into trying to hire to cover them all at once…we do need to be patient!

NOTE #2: in all cases, we’re looking for solid practicing Catholics who are comfortable and in obedience with the Magisterium of the Catholic Church. We vet everything against the Catechism, the Scripture, the Code of Canon Law, and other teaching documents of the Church.  Then, we have everything reviewed by reliable and informed Catholic sources. You don’t need to be an expert, but you do need to be energized about living the Faith, pretty well-educated in it, and striving to learn more, with a predisposition to checking things for accuracy against the right measures!

Below are the skills we’re looking for in those who want to join us in bringing the joy of the Faith to families.

Work IN OUR OFFICES just west of Charlotte, NC (probably 2-3 days per week for a few hours a day):

  • Administrative work–filing, inventory management, paying bills, acting as an assistant for all the details of day-to-day business management
  • Project management–helping manage timelines of all sorts for the new products and services underway and planning for new products, services, and “adventures”!
  • Product development–reviewing, proofreading, improving, and enriching the products we have and the ones in development.

Work NOT requiring you to be in our office:

  • Print production management–working with the above designers and artists to get things to PRINT (you need to be able to understand what is needed for print-ready files and how to proof them to say “PRINT!” after answering all the questions professional printers will have.)
  • Graphic designers–for the printed products we have underway.
  • Writing for production–our new Glory Stories, activity books and teaching guides, prayer books, and the like: all the children’s products we publish and produce
  • Writing for promotion–helping us promote these products and services; in other words, marketing copywriting, promotional blog posts, emails, catalogs, flyers, and so on.

If you believe you are fit for one of these roles, please send us an inquiry with a resume/samples of relevant work experience to Clara at clara@holyheroes.com

Ken Davison created Glory Stories, which became a weekly radio series heard globally on the Ave Maria Satellite Radio Network and EWTN's radio network, WEWN. In 2007, he and his wife, Kerri, founded Holy Heroes--and their children stepped in to help shortly thereafter to create the online "Adventures" for Advent, Lent, Spiritual Adoption, and Marian Consecration.
