Having lost five babies in miscarriage, the most moving scene for me in the new picture book by Theoni and Bastian Bell, Jellybean: A Baby’s Journey to God, portrays the Blessed Mother leading the unborn child who dies into heaven. What a beautiful and much needed resource! Although my grandchildren are high school and college age, as the Respect Life Coordinator for our parish, I would love to have some copies of Jellybean available to offer, should a family in my parish suffer the death of a baby.
