Here we have posted the 6 part mini-series on the Luminous Mysteries Chapel in honor of the feast day of Pope St. John Paul II on October 22nd.

While visiting the John Paul II National Shrine, our videographer, Tiffany, was able to receive a tour of the chapel from Sister Veritas Green of the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy (the same order as St. Faustina!). As soon as we saw the footage, we knew that we wanted to share the tour with our Holy Heroes fans!

The Luminous Mysteries Chapel is located inside the St. John Paul II National Shrine in Washington, D.C. The beautiful chapel includes floor-to-ceiling mosaics that depict the events of the Luminous Mysteries. The altar contains relics of Pope John Paul II and two other “Glory Story Saints” St. Maximilian Kolbe and St. Faustina Kowalska.

Feeling more inspired to pray by these videos? Tell us in the comments, and don’t forget to check out our family rosary materials (there’s something for every age and some great super-saver deals, too, like this 3-for-price-of-2 Rosary of Saint John Paul II prayer book!).
