Here is the nail and screw that we pulled out of my (flat) tire this week.

We pulled them out of the side of the tire…not the tread.

What does this mean?

It means our friend is back to his old harassment tricks.

Over the last number of years, we have had someone periodically attack our cars in the middle of the night.

We’ve had our van’s brake lines cut (realized that with all 8 of my kids in the back seat while going down a hill…very scary) and now, it’s the flat tires.

Now we’ve had a half dozen tires…on 4 different vehicles…all vandalized from someone putting screws into our tires (and now a nail, too, just to make certain, it seems).

Once our mechanic started telling us that this wasn’t an accident (no way screws accidentally get put in the sides of tires), we start contacting the police.

Now, local officers periodically drive by our house as part of their night shifts (we gave the police officers these cards).

Even with the additional police surveillance and getting cameras, no one has been caught.

But the screws and nails have continued to appear in our tires and as frustrating (and frankly, expensive) as it is to keep having flats, we have started to realize something: this harassment only happens when we are working on something important.

This week, my task is to listen to and approve the final cut of Glory Story Volume 18: Our Lady of Champion.

When I saw the flat tire yesterday morning, I realized that I would be spending my morning getting it repaired instead of at the office getting work done.

I guess the devil really doesn’t want this story to be finished.

Our Lady of Champion appeared over 150 years ago with a message for the United States and yet, so few people know the story.

When we announced this Glory Story, we had a few people ask, “Why this story? No one seems to know about it so it can’t be that interesting.”

This is exactly WHY we need to tell this story.

This is a message that must be heard no matter how any screws we get in our tires (though…I would love if this was IT…I can’t keep replacing tires)!

So here’s my pitch:

Satan doesn’t want your family to hear the message of Our Lady of Champion.

He is doing everything he can to ensure there are roadblocks to getting this out.

So here is what YOU can do: get this story for your family.

Help us spread the message of Our Lady of Champion!

Can you share this story with others and encourage them to pre-order the Glory Story?

We are so grateful for your support! We couldn’t make this story without your support.

Our Lady of Champion, pray for us!

Patron Saint of Cars (and specifically tires), pray for us!
