During an interview with Carlo’s mother, the author learned that this visit from his grandfather made a big impact on Carlo. He spent the rest of his short life interceding for loved ones in Purgatory with prayers and sacrifices to help them get into Heaven more quickly.

Holy Heroes enlists priests every year to offer a Novena of Masses for the Dead from November 1-9 for the Poor Souls in Purgatory. This year we have diocesan priests and priests from a variety of religious orders and congregations offering these Masses.
There is no stipend required and no limit on the number of people you can enroll.

There are specific requirements–and special ones on All Souls’ Day!–but this card explains them all.
